At the Walk of Achievement Foundation, we believe that confidence begins with how you walk into the world. That’s why we use sneakers and style as tools to uplift, empower, and connect students in Inglewood and beyond. Through our programs, we provide access to essential resources, mentorship, and inspiration to help youth walk boldly toward their future.

Fresh Start Sneaker Drops

Each month, we distribute brand-new sneakers to students in need. These drops aren’t just about shoes—they’re about giving students the confidence and dignity to walk with pride every day.
 

Closet Confidence Initiative

We host seasonal clothing drives and giveaways to ensure students have clean, stylish, and comfortable outfits year-round. When students feel good about how they show up, they show up stronger.
 

Walk & Talk Mentorship Program

We pair students with mentors for weekly or monthly walking sessions. These conversations build trust, provide guidance, and create safe spaces for young people to dream and grow.
 

Steps to Success Scholarship Fund

From college to trade school or entrepreneurship, we support students pursuing their goals with financial assistance through our annual scholarship program.

Fit to Lead Youth Workshops

These leadership development sessions combine sneaker culture with skill-building, helping students explore topics like self-confidence, goal-setting, and community engagement.

Sneaker Storytelling Sessions

Every sneaker tells a story—and so does every student. Through creative writing and public speaking workshops, students use their sneakers as a metaphor for their personal journey.

Sole Support Family Resource Days

These community-wide events offer sneakers, clothes, school supplies, health services, and local resources—all in one place to support families holistically.
 

Inglewood Impact Internships

We offer paid and volunteer internship opportunities for local youth interested in nonprofit work, leadership, marketing, and event planning.

Laced Up Literacy

We combine a love for reading and a love for sneakers. Students receive age-appropriate books along with a fresh pair of sneakers to spark a deeper connection to literacy and learning.
 

Back-to-School Boost Campaign

Every fall, we provide students with a full back-to-school bundle—sneakers, clothes, school supplies, and motivation from local leaders to help them start the year strong.
